Anjula Acharia
Anjula Acharia is the founder and CEO of A-Series Investments and Management. Acharia works as a talent strategist, strategic investor and advisor to consumer tech and CPG startups that grow into billion-dollar unicorns such as ClassPass and Bumble. Her extensive portfolio includes The Muse, Hooked, Cue, Thrive Causemetics, Health-Ade Kombucha, Yumi, Bulletproof Coffee, The Well and morel. Anjula is also on BuzzFeed’s board of directors. An entrepreneur herself, Anjula co-founded DesiHits!, a digital entertainment platform, in which she pioneered the merging of global cultures by introducing artists like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and 50 Cent into India and returning the favor by launching Priyanka Chopra’s career in America. She is Chopra’s manager to this day. |
Sanjay D. Naik
Mr. Sanjay D Naik serves as the Chairman of Board of Directors of State Bank of India California. As the Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Naik heads the International Banking Group of SBI. As a vertical Head, Mr. Naik is responsible for group strategy, business development, operational efficiency and other functional areas of the Group. A career banker with experience of over 30 years, Mr. Naik has held various positions across a wide range of domains including International Banking, Corporate Banking and Retail Banking. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Naik was Chief General Manager for International Banking, managing SBI’ international network in the Americas, Europe and the UK |
Vivek Pandit
Mr. Vivek Pandit is a Senior Partner and Global co-leader of McKinsey’s Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice. Mr. Pandit holds expertise on strategy, origination, transformations, sustainability and exits. He works with leading family-owned businesses, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, social impact & sustainability focused funds, and private equity funds. Mr. Pandit has published several reports including Investment Themes Arising from Sustainability (2020), Private equity and the new reality of coronavirus (Mar 2020),“Granularity of Growth: Asia” (Marshall Cavendish) and many more. Vivek serves as a Trustee of the Aspen Institute India, an Advisor to Social Finance India (Social Impact Bonds) and serves on a variety of non-profit education and healthcare boards including Magic Bus and ACT for Gender Equity. |
KV Subramanian
Dr. Krishnamurthy V Subramanian is an Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. As the youngest Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India from 2018 to 2021, Dr. Subramanian instituted economic policies that led to India emerging from the once-in-a-century Covid crisis with strong macroeconomic fundamentals, unlike the previous crisis when India joined the “Fragile Five” economies. Dr. Subramanian authored path-breaking Economic Surveys on Ethical Wealth Creation for a prosperous India (2019-20), the Strategic Blueprint for India to become a $5 trillion economy (2018-19), and the post-Covid economy using public capital expenditures in infrastructure and healthcare to further counter-cyclical fiscal policy (2020-21). Dr. Subramanian has been conferred the Distinguished Alumnus award by his alma maters IIT-Kanpur and IIM-Calcutta – the youngest to receive both these awards. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Chicago. |
Sanjeev Sanyal
Mr. Sanjeev Sanyal is a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Government of India and has helped prepare six editions of the Economic Survey of India since 2017. He is an internationally acclaimed economist and best-selling author. He has spent two decades in the financial sector and was Global Strategist & Managing Director at Deutsche Bank (2015). He won several awards including Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum (2010), International Indian Achievers Award for contributions to Literature (2014), and Eisenhower Fellowship for his work on urban dynamics (2007). He has been a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University, Adjunct Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, Singapore and a Senior Fellow of the World Wide Fund for Nature. He has been a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London and a Visiting Fellow of IDFC Institute, Mumbai. |
